Churchill Road fourth graders Jay Park, Sebastian Garth, Molly Gunn and Carlos Rojas shared their replica of the Jamestown forts with Jay and Molly’s mothers, Mrs. Jungmin Suh and Mrs. Ashley Gunn.

Churchill Road fourth graders visited Jamestown on Nov. 13 as part of their study of Colonial times. During the weeks that followed, teams of students utilized their firsthand knowledge of the fort to reconstruct miniature versions of the fort using clay, paper, popsicle sticks and other miscellaneous items. Once the forts were completed, students in each of the six fourth grade classes hosted a mini-museum for their parents and family members, featuring their replicas of the Jamestown fort.
