— The weather has certainly cooperated with the operation of Meadowlark Gardens’ Winter Walk of Lights. No frigid cold or hammering rain has affected the crowds that strolled through the wonderland of sparkling colorful lights that opened on Nov. 18. But don’t count on this pleasantly-tolerable weather to last for the next six weeks. Get your timed tickets soon and get yourself into the holiday mood.

A half-a-million colored and crystal LED lights glow and shimmer in night, creating storybook vignettes and woodland surrealism.

The Winter Walk of Lights at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens off Beulah Road in Vienna runs to Jan. 8. First timed entry is at 5:30 p.m.; the last is 9:30 p.m.
