A fundraiser will be held for the Falls Church-McLean Children’s Center on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Pulcinella Italian Host in McLean, announced the HBC Group (Keller Williams Realty), organizer of the monthly Community Charity Champions dining events. A silent auction will be part of the event.

The Children’s Center is celebrating its 50th anniversary of providing an affordable, high-quality, year-round early education to children from low- and moderate income, working families. The nationally accredited preschool, located in a dedicated wing of Lemon Road Elementary School, each year guides 80 children, ages 2-5, to develop the full range of skills they need to be ready to achieve when they start kindergarten. The nonprofit, nondenominational preschool was established by members of 20 area faith groups to meet the need for affordable, full-time child care in 1968.
