The following incidents were reported by the McLean District Police Station:

Monday, Sept. 9

ROBBERY: 1700 block of Ascot Way, 9/7/19, 12:30 a.m. The victim was walking home when he was approached by two men who pushed him to the ground and stole several personal items. The men were described as being in their late teens to early 20s.

Tuesday, Sept. 3

GRAND LARCENY/DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY/POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY: 1900 block of Chain Bridge Road, 9/2/19, 7 p.m. Officers were investigating several car break-ins in a parking garage when they saw a man crouched behind a car. He was arrested and officers then found another man sitting in a white van that contained stolen property from the earlier thefts. A 26- and 18-year old men of Washington, D.C., were charged with seven counts of larceny from a motor vehicle, destruction of property, possession of burglarious tools and possession of stolen property. The two men were held without bond.

STOLEN AUTO: 2001 International Drive (Tysons Galleria), 8/31/19, 12:54 p.m. Officers responded to the report of a stolen car that was in the parking garage. Officers used garage surveillance footage to locate the suspect in the mall. A 24-year-old man of Fairfax, was arrested and charged with auto theft, possession of burglarious tools, possession of forged bank notes, possession of marijuana and displaying altered/fictitious registration. He was held without bond.
