Hispanic Leadership Alliance president Jane Cruz (left) and her husband (right) Ron present the Humberto Moore Cruz Memorial Scholarship to Chantilly High School Senior Henry Stanley Méndez (center). Méndez quickly completed English as a Second Language classes at the beginning of high school. He plans to become a nurse and has already earned certifications including Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, ElectroCardiogram, First Aid and others.
