The following incidents were reported by the McLean District Police Station.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 7600 block of Broadway Drive, Oct. 1, around 1:24 a.m. A cab driver was sitting in his vehicle and was approached by a man. The man displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim did not comply and drove away from the suspect. The suspect was described as black, 20 to 30 years of age, thin build, and wearing dark clothing.
FRAUD, 6600 block of Old Dominion Drive, Sept. 30 around 1.30 p.m. A woman entered a bank and conducted several fraudulent transactions. The suspect resisted and was taken into custody by responding officers. A 41-year-old woman of Louisville, Ky., was charged with two counts of forgery, identity theft and resisting arrest.
BURGLARY: 2000 block of Maynard Drive, Sept. 29 at about 12:40 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person had entered the residence and took property.
BURGLARY: 1800 block of Gilson Street, Sept. 28 at about 3:43 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person had entered the residence and took property.
BURGLARY: 8500 block of Lee Highway, Sept. 28. A business owner reported unknown suspects entered the business and removed an ATM machine. No information on the suspects was provided.
BURGLARY, 2200 of Pimmit Run Lane, Sept. 27 around 1:59 a.m. Officers responded to a commercial alarm and discovered someone had entered a business and taken property.
BURGLARY, 7400 block of Nigh Road, Sept. 25. A resident reported an unknown person entered the residence and took property.
SEX OFFENSE: 7800 block of Tysons Corner Center, Sept. 24 at about 1 p.m. A customer reported that an unknown man attempted to videotape her while in a dressing room. She believed the suspect to be a white male.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY: 6800 block of Elm Street, Sept. 24 at about 5:28 p.m. A property manager reported that someone entered a vacant unit and damaged property.
