12th Annual Chocolate Festival at McLean Community Center

Mars to present History of Chocolate!

12th Annual Chocolate Festival, which is a delectable celebration set to occur on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024, at the McLean Center located at 1234 Ingleside Street, McLean, VA 22101. The event will run from 11 pm to 5 pm.
Admission to this sweet affair is only $3 for individuals aged four and up, which includes a tote bag. The proceeds generated from this festival will contribute to various community projects championed by the Rotary Club of McLean. The projects supported by the festival include scholarships for graduating high school seniors, books for Timber Lane Elementary School, McLean Project for the Arts, playground equipment at the Fairfax Children's Center, hygiene products for school-age girls, medical equipment and clean water initiatives in several African countries. The funds will also support global initiatives such as eradicating Polio abroad, medical needs in Central America, food insecurity across the globe, and many other community projects.

Attendees can indulge their sweet tooth by sampling offerings from more than 12 regional chocolate vendors. 

Mars Corporation will deliver a captivating presentation on the History of Chocolate, adding an educational touch to the event. In addition, entertainment will be provided by the Sunshine Gang Band.  
Families are encouraged to bring their little ones to enjoy the children's room, featuring face painting and other engaging activities. Furthermore, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the mission and vision of the Rotary Club of McLean and how their participation contributes to positive community impact.
The Rotary Club of McLean invites families, community members, and other organizations to join in this celebration of chocolate, community, and philanthropy.
